Receiver PositionThe Receiver drives a forklift to unload incoming freight from our suppliers. The position logs the receipt of product using a scan gun, and then puts away the product in the proper, designated area within the warehouse.Responsibilities:Put away received product using a forklift or pallet jackProject a friendly, professional image at all timesPrioritize multiple, competing prioritiesOperate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policyEnsure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisorEnsure work area is organized, clean, and free of trashAttend meetings as requiredJob Qualifications:Prior forklift experience preferredAbility to learn and use relevant internal computer applicationsBasic computer skills preferredAbility to use 10-key by touch preferredAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAble to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitmentsGood oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environmentMust be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detailMust be organized with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsMust be able to read and write EnglishMust be 18 yrs. or older to applyAbility to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hearHigh school graduate or GED requiredBen E.
