General Laborer and Machine OperatorWe are currently seeking a motivated General Laborer and Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Shop Foreman, Team Leads, and Machine Operators to maximize production efficiency and maintain a smooth workflow. This is an excellent entry-level or mid-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing, offering direct pathways to train on advanced machinery and advance within the company.
Pay: $20 per hour, depending on experience (DOE) Shift: Day shift, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday (with overtime on Saturdays as needed)Responsibilities:Enter tag information and specifications into the machine computer.Perform quality checking and control to ensure all specifications are met.Communicate with loaders and the shop foreman to ensure a smooth workflow.Ensure the machine is operating at optimal production levels.Perform daily and preventive service and maintenance.Follow all safety policies and work in an efficient manner at all times.Take direction from the shop foreman, lead, and operators.Tag, tie, and move bundles to pallets after fabrication; band and wrap pallets for transport.Assist in loading trailers and operating overhead cranes (2, 4, and 10 ton).Train on multiple machines for future advancement.Maintain organization using 6S standards (Safety, Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PMSkills:Rebar experienceMachine OperatorEducation: High SchoolExperience: 1-4 yearsQualifications:High school diploma or GED.Ability to communicate in English.Basic math, reading, and writing skills.A strong willingness to learn and advance within the fabrication department.Company is willing to invest in and train the right candidates that can offer reliability, excellent work ethic, and show a willingness to learn.
