Real Time Software Engineer, Vehicle Management Systems – Experienced/Senior

• Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop and maintain software development plans, verification plans, test procedures and test environments
• Execute test procedures and document test results to ensure software system requirements are met
• Provide technical leadership for software projects
• Support generation and maintenance of software processes, tools and metrics
• Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
• Track and evaluate software team to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards
• Train and mentor others
• Work under general direction
• Develop Vehicle Management System software supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required by the U.S. Government
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++
• 5+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• 3+ years of direct experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real time system
• 1+ years of experience in Safety or Flight Critical Software Development
• U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
