A large law firm in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support multiple attorneys within its Real Estate practice group. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and an opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal and administrative support to multiple attorneys.
- Draft, review, and assist with contracts, agreements, resolutions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and assist with due diligence.
- Prepare court and agency filings, organize exhibits, and proofread legal documents.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, deadlines, and document preparation.
- Maintain electronic files and document management systems.
- Track billable time and assist with billing and other administrative tasks.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and internal teams while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- At least four years of administrative support experience.
- At least four years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong organizational, research, writing, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial real estate transactional experience.
- Experience drafting business documents and contracts.
- Familiarity with document management systems, Adobe Acrobat, and legal billing software.
- Paralegal certificate or undergraduate degree.
