Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join an Am Law firm's Real Estate Finance practice in Atlanta.
This role is ideal for a mid-level associate with experience in commercial real estate finance, lending transactions, and secured financing structures, looking to work on sophisticated transactions with strong partner mentorship and client exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage real estate finance transactions from inception through closing with partner supervision
- Draft and negotiate loan documents, financing instruments, and collateral documentation
- Conduct title, survey, and financing due diligence
- Support secured lending transactions and landlord-tenant related financing structures
- Collaborate with deal teams and clients throughout transaction lifecycles
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of commercial real estate and finance experience at a law firm
- Strong drafting and transactional management skills
- Experience with lending and secured financing structures
- Excellent academic credentials
- JD from an accredited law school
- Georgia Bar admission (or pending admission)
