Our client, a growing Real Estate platform in San Diego, are looking to hire a Real Estate Counsel to join their legal team.
This is a strong opportunity for a real estate attorney seeking broad responsibility within an established and active investment platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and other property-related transactions
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, amendments, assignments, estoppels, easements, consents and closing documents
- Review title, survey, environmental, engineering and construction-related materials
- Advise on lease interpretation, property compliance, tenant defaults, workouts and dispute resolution
- Manage outside counsel, litigation, insurance claims and landlord or lender approval processes
- Review junior attorney and paralegal work as needed
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience - JD and active state bar admission
- Strong transactional real estate experience
- Experience with acquisitions, leasing, title, property management and corporate matters
About the role
- Compensation Range : $230,000 - $260,000 base salary + Competitive Bonus ($300,000 - $340,000 total) + potential equity
- Work Module : 4 days on site, 1 day remote
