Our client is seeking an attorney with 8+ years of commercial real estate experience , with a strong focus on real estate finance transactions , for their New York office. The role requires substantial experience representing lenders, real estate owners, developers, investors, and funds in complex commercial real estate matters, including mortgage, mezzanine, and construction financings .
Candidates should also have experience with commercial real estate transactions, workouts, condominium law, commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and development . Lender-side experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills , be capable of handling sophisticated transactions independently, and be admitted to the New York Bar . A portable book of business is not required, though candidates with existing client relationships or business development opportunities are encouraged to apply.
The New York salary range is $300,000–$400,000 , with actual compensation based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors. The firm's total compensation package also includes bonuses, health, life, accident, and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan .
