Position: Real Estate Attorney
Location: Chicago, IL
A well-established law firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join its growing team. The role involves handling a variety of commercial and residential real estate matters, including real estate transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, property acquisitions and sales, leasing, and due diligence.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Illinois
- 3+ years of experience in real estate law
- Strong, hands-on experience in real estate transactions is required for consideration
- Experience with commercial and/or residential real estate transactions, purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of real estate financing, title review, and due diligence is a plus
- Strong legal research, drafting, negotiation, communication, and client management skills
- Ability to independently manage client matters and provide effective legal solutions
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $230,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
