Real Estate Attorney, Associate
This role offers a mid-level commercial real estate attorney the opportunity to lead sophisticated transactional work in a remote, work-life-balance-focused environment.
• Lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions independently, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and joint ventures.
• Manage an existing client portfolio provided by the organization, serving as a trusted advisor on complex transactional matters.
• Maintain an annual billable hour requirement of 1,800 hours within a primarily remote, structured work schedule (PST hours, no weekends or late nights).
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys across multiple seniority levels on deal execution and client matters.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy while contributing to a collegial and collaborative team environment.
• 5+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate transactional experience, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and joint ventures.
• Prior experience at an Am Law 100 firm.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (California Bar admission is not required, as this role is transactional and does not involve court appearances).
• Strong tenure with prior employers, ideally 3+ years per role.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex transactions and client relationships without an existing book of business.
• Experience stepping into an established client portfolio and expanding existing relationships.
• Self-starter mindset with demonstrated comfort working in a remote, autonomous environment.
• Track record of long-term commitment and stability across roles.
