About the Firm
A well-established law firm with a strong Commercial Real Estate practice is looking for a Real Estate Associate to join its New Jersey team. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and tenants across a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handle a range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, amendments, and related agreements
- Represent lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, developers, and investors throughout transactions
- Conduct and manage real estate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and other property-related matters
- Work closely with clients, partners, and other transaction parties from initial negotiation through closing
- Advise clients on commercial real estate matters and assist with structuring and negotiating transactions
What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of commercial real estate experience at a law firm
- Strong experience with commercial real estate
- Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional documents
- Strong academic credentials and admission to the New Jersey Bar
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
