Job Summary:
The Regional Real Estate Administrator supports the Director of Corporate Real Estate in the SENY Region by managing real property assets and providing real estate expertise for major corporate initiatives and projects. This role acts as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth management of property relationships, permitting processes, and property agreements within the assigned region.
Responsibilities:
  • Foster and maintain positive property relationships in the assigned region.
  • Lead permitting processes associated with fee and easement areas.
  • Support new and developing project initiatives with real property information and execution of property agreements.
  • Serve as liaison and administrator to internal and external stakeholders, including utility companies and municipal zoning/planning departments.
  • Relay third-party inquiries to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the Real Estate department at relevant meetings within the assigned location.
  • Manage real property assets to support operational and safety requirements.
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management platforms such as SharePoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills with focus on accuracy, documentation, and version control.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, track tasks, and communicate proactively.
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Business, Real Estate Administration, Surveying, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Experience in real estate, land acquisition, utilities, or related fields.
  • Experience reading and reviewing title and appraisal documents, maps, easements, leases, and deeds.
  • Strong research skills using county records and property databases.
  • Experience in the utility industry.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, databases, or project management tools.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Knowledge of public records, permitting processes, and regulatory environments.
Special Considerations:
  • Must serve as a primary liaison with third parties and internal stakeholders, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
  • Role involves handling sensitive and detailed real estate documentation and agreements.
  • Requires adherence to operational and safety requirements related to real property assets.
Scheduling:
  • Hybrid work model with 3 days onsite in White Plains, NY.
  • Duration of assignment is 12 months.
