Job Title
Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution. Must have or be eligible to obtain a Virginia Teaching License with a Reading Specialist endorsement. Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary level teaching reading.
Ten Month (200 Days), Including In Part Paid State Retirement & State Mandated Life Insurance & In Part For Health Insurance.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate ability to diagnose reading strengths and weaknesses and develop instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Demonstrate ability to provide effective reading instruction and intervention in phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension.
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.
