Position Title: Reading Specialist
Location: Elementary Schools
Requirements: Valid PA dual instructional certification in Elementary Education and Reading Specialist
Position Summary:
The Reading Specialist is a key instructional leader and resource for improving literacy across our schools. This role is responsible for the systematic identification of student reading needs, the implementation of targeted reading interventions, and the professional support of classroom teachers. The Reading Specialist is an instructional leader within the school and works directly with students, collaborates with teachers to strengthen classroom instruction, and helps lead the school's overall literacy program to ensure all students are on a path to reading proficiency.
