Position Summary:

We are searching for an experienced Reach Truck Picker to support operations at a leading warehouse distribution center in Ashland, VA. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials within the warehouse facility. Duties may include picking orders and preparing them for shipment , receiving and processing inbound materials , and entering data into the computer and RF systems . In addition, you will maintain documentation for all incoming and outbound orders and perform overall quality checks .

Reach truck (stand-up) experience is required and you must be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Operate reach truck forklift (stand up forklift)
• Order picking
• Packaging
• Receiving and processing inbound materials
• Entering data into computer and RF systems
• Maintain documentation
• Quality inspection
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Requirements:

• Prior warehouse experience
• Reach Truck operation experience (stand up forklift) is required
• Ability to effectively lift 50 lbs. continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to work 8+ hours standing, stooping, twisting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting.
• Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn. Must have a consistent work history
• Steel Toe boots required (additional PPE provided)

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday | 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Compensation:

• $19.00 per hour
