Job Description
Reach Truck Operator to safely move materials within our warehouse and manufacturing areas. This role requires attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load/unload materials and transport goods safely.
- Process factory transfers and ensure materials are delivered to correct locations.
- Secure loads and prevent damage; monitor inventory and report discrepancies.
- Utilize PKMS and RF scanning systems for accurate tracking.
- Complete LTL and Will Call orders.
- Perform daily pre- and post-shift equipment inspections.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of forklift experience; reach truck experience preferred.
- Ability to operate safely in a high-volume warehouse/manufacturing setting.
- Basic computer skills; WMS experience helpful.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
Training & Certification:
- Must complete in-house forklift and reach truck training (40 hours forklift + 16 hours reach truck).
