The role focuses on safe, efficient drilling operations, high-quality sample recovery, equipment care, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in often remote work environments.Responsibilities:Safely operate Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling rigs in accordance with site procedures, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirementsConduct thorough pre-start inspections of drill rigs, compressors, boosters, rods, hammers, and support equipmentPerform routine servicing, lubrication, and basic mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtimeAccurately collar holes and maintain correct drilling angles, depths, and alignment per drilling plansMonitor and adjust drilling parameters such as air pressure, rotation speed, bit wear, and penetration rate to optimize productivity and sample qualityEnsure correct sample return, contamination control, and proper setup of cyclones, splitters, and sample bagsMaintain accurate drill logs, meters drilled, consumables usage, and daily production reportsIdentify ground conditions and communicate changes or issues to geologists and supervisorsEnforce safe work practices for offsiders and ensure compliance with all HSE requirementsMaintain site housekeeping standards around the drill pad and equipmentParticipate in toolbox talks, pre-shift meetings, safety audits, and ongoing trainingRespond appropriately to equipment failures, emergencies, or changing site conditionsQualifications:Proven experience as an RC Driller in mining or explorationStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of RC drilling techniquesCommitment to safety and ability to work extended shifts in remote environmentsPhysically fit and capable of working in varying weather conditionsOur culture is built on three principles:Extreme Ownership – We take full responsibility for outcomes, relentlessly driving toward solutions.Engineer Out Requirements, then Automate – We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.Share Your Legos – We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.Join us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply.
