RaterRCA-HOSPITAL - FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 33334OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift Any Education Level Graduate Degree Category Health CareJob DescriptionFunction: The position is responsible for performing various test evaluations and interview/ratings on study participants (inpatient psychiatric facility i.e. Schizophrenia and Bipolar) specific to study protocol.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Become familiar with and adhere to policies and principles of confidentiality, informed consent and study subject rightsBecome familiar with and adhere to the principles of Good Clinical Practices and general ethical guidelines, as related to clinical trialsBecome familiar with the FDA Regulations pertaining to clinical trialsPerform interview/ratings on study subjects to determine current levels of functioning and to create a clinical impression of the study subject's current mood throughout the duration of the studyEnsure correct Rater for each scale and document in the source, as necessaryPrepare rater audio/video/testing materials, as neededSchedule remote assessments, as neededComplete subject eligibility/screening forms, as necessary and fax/email to study team, as specifiedConduct telephone screens and pre-screen, as neededMaintain professional and appropriate interactions with sponsors and all other study related personnel, subjects, families and clinical staff membersReview medical history with CRC information obtained at screeningReview and reconcile medical records received for subjects and prepare PI notes to explain discrepancies, if neededRespond to medical monitor emails regarding patient inquiriesWhen primary Rater, complete Study Guides and Study Launch with CRCAssist team in management and assessment of adverse eventsEnsure safety of subjectsAssist with recruitment effortsMentor staff, as neededOther Duties as Assigned: The above information on this portion is designed to present the most essential duties and responsibilities necessary to achieve the positions end results.
