Capacity Planning Greenfeld Implementations SpecialistLocation: The majority of time will be remote, but will need to travel to Boston and Chihuahua MX.Client is accepting H1B, GC, TN VISA, USC.An overview of Kinaxis® RapidResponse® Capacity Planning (Constraints) is attached to this job.General Summary: Member of project programming staff involved in the design, development and analysis of Kinaxis' Capacity Planning (Constraints) application.Essential job functions:Write new, or upgrade existing CP low code to implement new workbook design.Complete CP workbook analysis and design.Design CP workbook specifications and documentation.Maintain current knowledge of new technologies and services.Advise and consult co-workers on issues and improvement opportunities with CP.Consult with end-users for program efficiency and future CP workbook developments.Provide CP workbook development support.Provide project/task time and cost estimates.Plan and conduct CP workbook component/system tests.Debug and troubleshoot existing CP workbooks.Follows proper coding processes and protocols as set forth in the SDLC.Maintain standards to assure CP application/workbook quality.Maintain regular and predictable attendance.Advice, training, and mentoring to other development team resources with Capacity Planning implementation issues.Supportive job functions:Perform some database administration functions.Provide user documentation and training.Assist in selecting and training staff.Coordinate projects by scheduling, assigning and monitoring project progress.Train and mentor software engineers and programmer/analysts.Knowledge, skills, and abilities:Demonstrated competence in collecting and analyzing research data.Computer system usage and communications software including word processing, Windows, Visual Basic.NET, HTML, Java Script, Java, XML, and Capacity Planning (CP).Database development and understanding of CP data module and process for data import and export capabilities/interfaces with CP external systems (MS-SQL or equivalent background).Managing and organizing work.Determining logical solutions to complicated problems.Superior ability to read and interpret written material, including the recognition of technical terms and jargon.Setting specific goals and priorities.Managing stress effectively.Computing multiple-step mathematical calculations.Education and experience:Kinaxis Certification for Capacity Planning.4+ years hands-on coding role developing solutions within Capacity Planning for enterprise organizations.7+ years of related experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.Working conditions: This position requires an individual to work independently as well as maintain strong interpersonal working relationships. This position also requires continuous alertness and concentrated mental and visual attention throughout the workday.

Working hours will need to be flexible to cover both EST and PST time zones (generally 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
