Rapid Application Developer (RAD) (Banking Domain)Location: New York, NY (Web Cam Interview)Duration: Long Term (W2) H1 Transfer/ GC/ CitizenResponsibilities:As part of the role, you will cover the following responsibilities:IT GovernanceProject DeliveryDevelopmentReportingOtherContributions:Provide software solutions as prioritized by the NY Trading Business for the traders, TAs, operations trade support, MO and PnL and Client teams.Manage ad-hoc requests and incidents through to completion; Undertake investigations, ensure high levels of communication and provide tactical as well as strategic solutions all in a timely and controlled manner whilst reducing operational risk.Proactively collaborate for the support of the Global Trading Businesses with local and global teams to ensure proper development, support and maintenance of RAD systems with an aim to preempt production incidents.Contribute to the stability and performance of applicable IT systems by always considering impact of changes pre and post release.Collaborate with Client teams to ensure proper documentation for usage and support of all existing and new developments.Ensure appropriate segregation of development and production to reduce operational risksMinimum Required Qualifications Skills:At least 3 years of full-time work experience.Previous experience of front-office risk and P&L development and support.Very good understanding of Fixed Income products.Excellent knowledge of Python (with scientific packages).Excellent knowledge of Excel & VBA.Excellent knowledge of C#/.NET.Good knowledge of MS-SQL.Good knowledge of CI/CD setups (including Bitbucket, Jenkins, SONAR, Ansible, Artifactory etc)Competencies:Excellent time managementCommunication – able to work with trading desks, IT teams and quant developersAnalytical minded – the mathematical ability to learn and explain complex quantitative concepts quicklyTeam-working skillsAble to work under pressureProficient in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:5-7 years of full-time work experience within risk and P&L development.Candidates with proven experience should also have had good exposure to Derivatives, ideally in a front-office facing role, and an in-depth understanding of the business.
