Remote coverage pays $240/hr for the first 33 wRVUs of an 8-hour shift, then $36 per additional wRVU beyond that, typical shift volume runs 60-70 wRVUs, which works out to roughly $3,000+ per shift at expected volume, well above the base-rate floor. Malpractice is included in both. Modalities: XR, CT, MR, US.
Sub-specialty case mix per shift: ED (60), Neuro (20). Possible weekend and on-call requirements.
