  And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including general, surgical, portable, and tomography exams, while maintaining radiation safety and patient identification standards.Provide safe, compassionate patient care, including positioning, transport, appropriate nursing procedures, contrast/medication assistance, and communication with physicians and nursing staff.Accurately document exams and patient information in the RIS, maintain efficient patient flow, and complete exams in a timely manner.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment while ensuring equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and ready for use.Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing, transportation, and administrative staff; assist with student education and department needs, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.QualificationsLicensure/Certification:Holds Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.Certified and holds current registration with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist.Includes those currently pursuing registration in Mammography, CT, or MRI. If pursuing the Mammography, CT, or MRI tract, the technologist is required to successfully obtain their modality A.R.R.T.
