Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Location: Oregon City, Oregon

  • Full-Time / Evening Shift
  • Full-Time / Day Shift
  • Part-Time / Day Shift (Saturday-Tuesday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM)
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders using advanced radiology equipment. This role requires precise positioning, proper technique calibration, radiation safety awareness (ALARA), and high-quality imaging output. The technologist provides safe, compassionate patient care and collaborates with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform radiographic imaging studies per physician orders, using proper technique and positioning.
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA compliance to minimize exposure to patients and technologists.
• Assess image quality and adjust technique as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
• Provide patient-centered care including safety instructions, support, and reassurance.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to imaging regulations and Providence policies.
• Operate a variety of sophisticated imaging systems safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with radiologists and support clinical staff in workflow and patient care.
• Support efficient department operations and patient throughput.
Required Qualifications
Education: Must meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
Oregon Radiographer License OR Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
National ARRT Certification - Must obtain within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
BLS - American Heart Association (required upon hire).
New graduates: Must hold an OBMI Temporary License and obtain permanent licensure within 6 months.
