Radiology Technologist
Responsible for performing high quality radiographs while striving to minimize patient wait time in the department. Will educate patients / families about procedures being performed. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
- Experience with c-arm & portable x-ray units a plus
- Experience with pain management a plus
- Usually 1 -10 hour on call shift a week with potential for more hours to cover vacations, etc.
Will work only at ESC not required to float
Pay based on experience starting at $26.35 per hour
Performs all radiographic procedures as written in Policy and Procedure Manual, Performs basic patient care needs when acting in the role of the perioperative assistant including patient identification, assisting with patient needs and taking vital signs, Repots all needed information to the RN caring for the patients, Reviews all radiation badge reports and submits to the Administrator, Tests and monitors all equipment and aprons for proper working condition
ARRT - Radiography (R) - (within 1 year) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire. - Sarah Bush Lincoln
