nJob Summary
nWe are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.
nResponsibilities
nGet to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
nSet up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
nThoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
nMaintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
nFollow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
nQualifications
nAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification required
nIEMA License
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
nExperience with medical charting desired
nStrong attention to detail
