How You'll Contribute
- Review patient history and physician’s orders; educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitor patient condition continually and report or respond to changes in status.
- Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters; implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment; troubleshoot, resolve, or report equipment malfunctions.
- Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality; take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure; enter, transmit, and report scan results.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of Program in Discipline.
- License: MT Limited Radiologic Technologist or MT Radiologic Technologist License upon hire.
- Certification: ARRT within 6 months of hire or three months post‑graduation; BCLS within 90 days of hire.
