Radiology Technician

Overview

Full-time night shift Radiology Technician position at Sovah Health - Martinsville, part of Lifepoint Health. May be eligible for a sign-on bonus. The role supports our mission to make communities healthier by delivering quality radiology services.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered. Monitors patient condition and responds to changes as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies, selects exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures. Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.

Qualifications

What we're looking for: Applicants should be a graduate of a Radiology program.

Additional Requirements

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology
• BCLS

Hourly Range - $25.89-$33.45 per hour
