Role Summary: Provides quality diagnostic radiographs, including OR, Fluoro, Dexa, or EOS procedures, under supervision to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality images using appropriate techniques and proper marker placement.
- Document patient history and verify physician orders prior to exams.
- Assist in OR/surgical cases with C-arms and portable equipment.
- Supervise and mentor radiology students, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain safety, infection control standards, and a clean work environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and continuing education to stay current.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including patient identification, confidentiality, and safety protocols.
- Ensure timely documentation in hospital systems and proper patient age-specific care.
- Support service excellence by demonstrating respect, teamwork, and effective communication.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Radiology Technology program, registry eligible, with BLS and ARRT-R certification. Preferred two years of experience. Must adhere to safety procedures, demonstrate physical stamina, and possess strong communication skills.
Physical & Work Environment
Ability to stand, lift over 100 pounds, and perform strenuous activities. Exposure to biological hazards and blood-borne pathogens, requiring protective measures.
