Responsibilities
Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and successfully accomplishes their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program. Oversees the radiology area and/or staff in the Manager’s/Director’s absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Does scheduling for assigned sub‑departments and maintains supplies and equipment for the assigned sub‑department. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Training:
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
- Effective July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Must be familiar with state and federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
Employment Status & Shift
Employment Status: Per Diem. Shift: Variable.
Pay Transparency
Montclair Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $39.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
