The Senior Imaging & Testing Specialist supports the development and evaluation of innovative medical devices through advanced imaging and laboratory-based testing activities. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining imaging systems, supporting simulated-use testing, ensuring laboratory readiness, and promoting radiation safety while partnering with cross-functional teams and healthcare professionals throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and optimize angiography and fluoroscopy imaging systems to support device testing and development activities.
  • Perform imaging system setup, calibration, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and coordinate equipment servicing as needed.
  • Support simulated-use testing, proof-of-concept studies, physician training events, and product demonstrations in a laboratory environment.
  • Prepare, assemble, and maintain vascular models and testing equipment used for device evaluations.
  • Provide technical support during testing activities, including imaging system operation and control room support.
  • Maintain laboratory organization, equipment readiness, inventory, and testing supplies.
  • Perform laboratory setup, post-test cleanup, and preparation for ongoing testing activities.
  • Support radiation safety programs, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), training compliance, and safe operating practices.
  • Ensure laboratory activities comply with established quality, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, testing, training, and educational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in imaging, radiologic technology, cardiovascular technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a catheterization lab, angiography lab, interventional imaging environment, or similar setting through education, training, or professional experience.
  • Experience operating angiography, fluoroscopy, catheterization laboratory, or interventional imaging systems.
  • Experience with Philips, Siemens, or similar imaging platforms required.
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations and radiation safety practices required.
  • Familiarity with endovascular, neurovascular, peripheral vascular, or other interventional procedural workflows preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a healthcare technology, medical device, or hospital-based environment preferred.
  • Ability to support laboratory setup, equipment handling, and routine operational activities in a testing environment.
