Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, the radiographer performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. The role requires professional judgment to apply x‑ray energy for diagnosis or treatment of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly. The candidate must complete established competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Up to $20,000 sign‑on bonus based on eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality diagnostic radiographs and rotate through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
- Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
- Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
- Exercise professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x‑ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program
- ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post‑graduation
- BLS certification
- State license if required
Preferred:
- Associate degree
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
