Position Details

• Primary Location : 320 Western Blvd, Glastonbury, CT 06033. May be asked to cover additional locations as required.
• Department : Radiology
• Schedule : Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM

ProHealth Physicians Imaging has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient‑focused, and detail‑oriented Radiographer to support the imaging team and its patients by providing quality radiologic exams following established standards and practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build confidence, trust, and loyalty with patients.
• Prepare patients for radiology exams, collecting and recording required information.
• Review patient orders for appropriate demographics and coding.
• Triage patients according to approved protocols and scheduling guidelines.
• Document pertinent patient information for radiologists and bone densitometries.
• Create and review daily patient log for productivity and billing purposes.
• Use the CoActiv Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS) to review images and reports.
• Review imaging reports for accuracy and contact the radiology group for corrections.
• Maintain equipment according to the quality maintenance program and QI policies.
• Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA, ACR, and ARRT regulations and ProHealth policies.
• Assist the care team to ensure smooth office operation and excellent service through teamwork.
• Perform cardiac monitor testing (training for Holter and wireless event monitoring).

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT registration and CT license.
• Ability to maintain continuous medical education credits for radiography registration.
• At least 1 year of experience as a radiographic technologist.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bone densitometry certification.
• 3 years or more of experience as a radiologic technologist.
• Experience working on electronic health records.
• Proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with EMR systems (Allscripts, EPIC).

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on local labor market, education, experience, and certifications. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase plan, and a 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility).
