Job Description
Title: Radiology Technologist
Schedule:
- Shift: 10-hour days
- Days: Varies; includes weekends and holidays
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13-16 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
- ARRT certification for radiology
- Specific certifications for ultrasound modalities as applicable
- Prior travel experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound as required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient examinations and procedures performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards of practice in the radiology department.
Compliance / Notes:
- Dress code: Scrubs of any color, closed-toe non-skid shoes, minimal jewelry, and well-groomed appearance.
- Required to float to various departments within radiology.
- Call is required, with responsibilities depending on modality.
