Job Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to join a peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The successful candidate will possess specialized experience in neuro interventional procedures.
Shift Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (07:00 - 15:30) Monday through Friday
• Varied start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM
• On-call responsibilities: After 5 PM daily and weekends shared among 6 to 8 staff members
• Contract duration: 13 to 26 weeks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Required Certifications:
  
  • ARRT R (Radiography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • SC Radiography State License
• Preferred: Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro interventional radiology procedures including:
  
  • Stroke Thrombectomy
  • Aneurysm Coiling
  • Aneurysm Stenting
  • AVM Embolization
  • Carotid Stenting
  • Line access procedures such as port placements and PICC placements
  • Peripheral and body angiography
• Support a daily census of 15 to 20 cases in a 3-room interventional radiology department

Patient Care Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support teams available including:
  
  • IV Teams
  • Physical Therapy
  • Respiratory Services
  • Interpretation Services
  • Phlebotomy
  • Rapid Response Teams
  • Pharmacy
  • Transportation
• Patient diagnoses include a wide range of conditions affecting all ages and chronic illnesses in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Additional Information
Orientation will take place every Monday, and compliance training is required annually. All agency staff are expected to float to other units or campuses as needed, ensuring staff are qualified and competencies are documented.
