Interventional Radiology Technologist
Schedule: Shift: 4x10 days Call: 5–7 days/month (weekends only when on-call)
Assignment Details: Assignment length: 13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
Requirements: Minimum: 2 years of IR/Angio experience Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), Washington state license Required clinical skills: contrast use, angiograms, nephrograms, venous access Preferred skills: ablations, kyphoplasty, C-arm operation, biopsies
Roles & Responsibilities: Operate imaging equipment during procedures under the direction of physicians. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging and interventional procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions. Assist in the documentation and tracking of patient information and procedures performed. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Monitor and manage equipment functionality and safety standards.
