Radiology Tech - Meritus Fast Lane Care Full Time | 80hr Bi-Weekly | Shift: 5p-1am & Weekend Rotation: 12p-8p $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

At Meritus Health’s Urgent Care clinics, timely and accurate imaging is essential to rapid diagnosis and treatment. As a Radiologic Technologist in this outpatient setting, you’ll perform a wide range of diagnostic radiology procedures for patients of all ages presenting with acute injuries and illnesses. You’ll work closely with providers to deliver high-quality images that support immediate clinical decisions in a fast-paced, walk-in environment.

This role is ideal for a flexible, detail-oriented technologist who thrives in urgent care and values both technical precision and compassionate patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate and maintain digital radiography equipment with competence and care.
• Prepare exam rooms, organize supplies, and clean radiographic areas to ensure readiness and safety.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures clearly, and assist other staff members as needed.
• Obtain and document clinical information from patients accurately.
• Observe patients and equipment during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences immediately.
• Record pertinent patient information in QA logs, electronic systems, and reports.
• Serve as a resource to other staff, offering guidance and support as needed.
• Assist with outpatient medical assisting duties (e.g., vitals, medical history documentation) when appropriate and after demonstrated competency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• One year of experience as a radiographer preferred.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Licensure by the State of Maryland as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification in compliance with Meritus Health policy.

• Proficiency in radiographic techniques and digital imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety principles.
• Ability to prepare and administer contrast medications safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
