The Rad Tech greets and performs general CT, Dexas, and radiographic procedures for medical clinic patients as requested by physicians and various other specialized exams. The Rad Tech also takes care of emergency trauma patients and participates in the call rotation of the hospital's Radiology department. There is a call obligation that comes with this position.
- Have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and machine use and safety
- Provide best patient care and obtain quality diagnostic images
- Possess a valid ARRT license to practice in Iowa
- Experience preferred in at least one of the following areas: MRI, Mammography, General Radiology
- Preferably willing to learn other modalities
Job Responsibilities
- Prep patient for x-ray, explain procedures & position patient accordingly

In order for current employees to be eligible to receive a referral bonus, the applicant cannot have worked at GRH previously and the applicant must include the full name of a current GRH employee on their UKG application in the blank provided. New hires must be hired for a regular, non-casual position to be eligible for bonus. New hires must not drop status for two years after hire for referring employee to get the full bonus. Managers will not be eligible if referring a new team member to their respective department.
