Shift Details
This position involves working four 10-hour shifts with the following schedule:

• Start Time: 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM
• End Time: 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM

The role requires participation in on-call duties, including:

• 1 on-call shift per week
• 1 weekend on-call shift every 5 weeks
• 1 late stay shift per week

Routine cases are conducted on Sundays, which is included in the 4x10 hour schedule.
Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• 1 year of relevant experience is required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with various cardiac procedures such as ASD closures, cardiac stent placements, and diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal).
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Ability to perform and scrub all catheterization lab cases.
• Familiarity with special equipment including IVUS, OCT, IMPELLA, and IABP.

Patient Care Details

• Patient age groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 42 patients
• Average Number of Visits Per Day: 25
• Unit Capacity: 4 rooms

Additional Information
Candidates must be prepared to float to other units as necessary. They will only be assigned to units where they are qualified, with competencies documented.
Orientation is 30 hours, with updates and required training conducted annually.
Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules is mandatory for all nurses within 48 hours of contract acceptance.
