Radiology Scheduler

To support patient scheduling needs in a remote environment, the full-time Radiology Scheduler will manage inbound and outbound patient interactions, schedule appointments across various diagnostic imaging services, and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards while providing compassionate customer service. Key responsibilities Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmation of patient appointments for diagnostic imaging services Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointment availability, preparation instructions, and insurance verification Document all patient interactions and appointment details accurately in the appropriate systems Required qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service environment, with experience in scheduling medical appointments preferred Experience working from home in a secure and distraction-free environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Windows-based systems and CRM or scheduling platforms Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
