Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma's only Level I Trauma Center.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.

Required Credentials: If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials. Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT or Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.

Unit Details: Dedicated surgery X-ray assignment. Performs real-time fluoroscopic imaging in invasive and operative environments. Assists providers with image-guided procedures and administers contrast as needed. Uses specialized radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and invasive procedures. Patient preparation includes sterile-site preparation, vital-sign monitoring, and comfort measures while maintaining a sterile field. May participate in teaching students in the radiologic program and precept or mentor new or less experienced team members.

Shift & Scheduling: The assignment follows a Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday schedule. May provide one on-call shift per month outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
