Overview
We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic procedures in a fast-paced healthcare setting. In this Radiology Technologist position, you will support patients from infant through geriatric, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to efficient imaging workflows across the radiology department and related clinical areas.
Job Details

• Location: Salina, Kansas
• Setting: Radiology department with opportunities to support the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and bedside imaging
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/21/2026
• End Date: 11/20/2026
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,880

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, X-Ray Tech, or Diagnostic Radiology Technologist is required
• Current Radiologic Technologist diagnostic certification or equivalent credential
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
• Strong communication, patient care, and customer service skills
• Comfortable using computer systems and clinical documentation tools
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices, imaging best practices, and equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients across all age groups
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for clinical interpretation
• Explain procedures clearly and position patients appropriately for optimal imaging
• Adjust exposure factors based on procedure requirements and established guidelines
• Follow radiation safety standards and assist the radiologist as needed
• Support imaging needs in the Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and at bedside when necessary
• Work collaboratively with the care team to provide excellent patient service and efficient workflow
• Complete additional duties as assigned by radiology leadership
