Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist / X-Ray Technologist
• Setting: Diagnostic Radiology / Imaging Services
• Location: Mason City, Iowa 50401
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 8 Hour Days
• Schedule: No weekends, no call, and no holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,060

Job Requirements

• Current X-Ray Technologist certification or licensure as required
• At least 1 year of radiology, diagnostic imaging, or radiologic technologist experience
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative imaging team
• Willingness to complete standard onboarding and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and X-ray procedures in accordance with department protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging exams and explain procedures clearly and professionally
• Position patients accurately to ensure clear, reliable imaging results
• Maintain imaging equipment and uphold safety, quality, and patient care standards
• Document procedures accurately and support efficient workflow throughout the radiology department
