• Locum tenens job opening

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible diagnostic radiologist

• Reason for need: New position

• Start date: ASAP

• On-site position - no teleradiology available

• Active Illinois license required

• Diagnostic radiologists needed for hospital coverage

• Approximately 20 shifts per month

• Two physicians needed for day shift coverage and one physician needed for night shift coverage

• Providers will be cross-credentialed with another local hospital to support system coverage as needed

• Expected productivity: Approximately 60-70 reads per shift

• Interpret general diagnostic radiology studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy

• Perform light procedures, including fluoroscopy and basic image-guided procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis

• Provide timely and accurate reads for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging

• Communicate significant findings with ordering providers when appropriate

• Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate and efficient patient care

• Support hospital initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within the hospital's radiology systems

• Weekdays: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Weekends: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• EMR: Epic
