Radiology Physician

Locums Breast Imaging Radiologist needed in New York for weekday coverage with no call. Mix of onsite procedures and potential remote diagnostic and screening reads, with a 3 to 6 month commitment.

Highlights

• No call requirements.
• Weekday coverage, full time preferred, will consider less than full time.
• 3 to 6 month commitment, supporting coverage for backlog and increased volume.
• Option for onsite procedures, with possible remote coverage for diagnostic appointments and screening.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient breast imaging.
• Adults only.
• Supported by a full radiology team, including 5 mammographers and radiology techs.
• Backlog of breast imaging studies, including screening and diagnostic work.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage.
• Scheduled hours are 8a to 4p or 8a to 5p.
• No call.
• Start date is mid January 2027, with a 3 to 6 month commitment.

Cases and Procedures

• Full range of breast imaging, screening and diagnostic.
• Onsite procedures include biopsies and localizations.
• Onsite imaging includes breast MRI and ultrasound.
• Possible remote coverage includes diagnostic appointments and screening reads.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board certified in Radiology.
• New York license required, will not wait for license.
• BLS, DEA, and MQSA required.
