Practice Setting

• Inpatient diagnostic radiology coverage.
• Support includes techs and residents.
• Patient ages range from 0 to 105.
• Volume expectations include plain film about 250 to 350 per day, or mixed workload around 50 wRVU per day.

Schedule

• Weekday coverage is Monday through Friday.
• Weekend coverage may be needed if covering the ER.
• Flexible shift structuring is available, including options to read backlog during later hours.
• Coverage need is ongoing, approximately 2 weeks per month, can be split between two physicians or arranged in block schedules.

Cases and Procedures

• UGI and esophagram.
• VCUG and HSG.
• Fluoroscopy is optional, not required.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Diagnostic Radiology board certified, or board eligible within 5 years.
• California license required, they will not wait for a license.
