Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This opportunity is based in a 175-bed hospital that includes a psychiatric facility, allowing for a comprehensive clinical experience. The physician will cover a range of Interventional Radiology services, including spine procedures, solid organ biopsies, kyphoplasty, and breast biopsies. You will be instrumental in supporting the hospital's trauma designation and providing critical care to the community.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The assignment offers a predictable Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced professional and personal life. The locum tenens role begins as soon as possible, with multiple blocks of coverage available. This schedule does not require weekend work, offering a consistent weekday commitment.
Support and Work Environment
Join a collaborative team environment with dedicated technologists and nursing support. You will also work alongside a Physician Assistant who assists with barium work, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. The medical center uses the EPIC EMR system, facilitating seamless patient care and coordination.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology REQUIRED
- Eligible for NE License or possessing an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Clean background and malpractice history HIGHLY PREFERRED
