Must-Have: Previous experience in adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, and ER. Ability to work night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Must have the capacity to float between facilities as required.
Description: All previous permanent employees of any facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. First-time travelers are accepted. This position requires 2 years of MRI experience. Certifications required include BLS and ARRT MR. Experience in adult and pediatric acute care settings is necessary. The tech will be scheduled for 3 consecutive night shifts each week. There are no on-call requirements for this position. The position offers 3 hours of technologist overlapping coverage during the shifts. A patient transporter trained in MRI safety will be present during all shifts. It is essential to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. All requests for time off or specific scheduling need to be made upfront. Refusal to float between sister facilities may result in termination of the assignment. The client agrees to provide necessary communication devices needed for the duties at no cost. Further communication regarding job-related matters should not be directed to facility contacts unless previously arranged. All time spent on non-billable modules is factored into hours worked.
