Job Description
The MRI Technologist will operate GE 450W 1.5 T equipment, performing various imaging procedures including brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdomen, and cardiac scans. The role requires expertise in MRI technology and adherence to safety protocols while providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring accurate imaging results.
- Administer safety protocols to protect patients from unnecessary exposure.
- Work collaboratively with the radiology team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
- Educate patients about procedures and provide emotional support.
- MR Registered (ARRT certification)
- BLS Certification
- Experience operating GE MRI equipment
- Virginia License in hand at submission
