Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our imaging department. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently while providing high-level patient care. You will be responsible for conducting neuro and abdominal MRI exams, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a calm and supportive environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans for various examinations including neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal studies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Adapt protocols based on patient needs and physician requests.
- Maintain equipment and assist in minor troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively with patients and the radiologist regarding procedures and results.
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Valid state licensure for MRI technology.
- Strong understanding of MRI safety and protocols.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
