Mammography Technologist
Location: Aurora, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No weekends.
Job Description: The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography, as well as conducting diagnostic ultrasound and interventional breast procedures in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound and interventional breast procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain equipment and adhere to quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including front desk staff and nursing personnel.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 6 months of current experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT (M) certification and active Colorado licensure.
- Preferred: ARRT (BS) and ARRT (BD) certifications.
