Interventional Radiology Technician
This position involves working in the Interventional Radiology unit with a focus on special procedures. The unit consists of two labs and is staffed with three RNs and two RTs. The typical patient ratio is 1:2. Equipment utilized includes GE and Phillips fluoroscopy machines. Electronic medical records are managed using Meditech and Mac Lab systems. Typical procedures performed include TIPS, EVAR, AAA repair, PICC placement, vertebroplasty, and vascular-peripheral interventions. Candidates should be flexible with their schedules and possess an amicable personality. Call is required, including off-hours and weekends, with a necessary response within a 30-minute radius. Scrubs will be provided and sizing must be communicated.
